Our Mission for Therapeutic Horseback Riding

To provide a pleasant and natural environment towards enhancing the physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities of children and adults with special needs and life challenges through the experience of equestrian therapy.

Reins of Life was established in 1993 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation and is well recognized as a successful therapeutic riding program for children and adults. The program has helped children and adults with diverse types of special needs as well as life challenges make tremendous strides in improving the quality of their lives through therapeutic horseback riding.

At Reins of Life we strive to achieve physical development, socialization and learning through fun equine activities and riding as we instill a great sense of success, confidence, and accomplishment in our riders.

Incorporated in 1993 as a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation, Reins of Life proudly celebrates 24 years of service to children and adults with special needs as well as life challenges throughout the Delaware Valley and beyond.

Reins of Life is a recipient in the Donor Option Program of the United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania. Donors can designate a gift to Reins of Life through the United Way, specifying "Specific Care Option" -  #5089 Reins of Life.

Please contact your employer and find out if your company participates in the Donor Option Program of United Way. Be sure to specify United Way of Southeastern PA, along with the Reins of Life donor code number #5089 so that your funds will be delegated to Reins of Life. Donations through United Way outside of Southeastern PA, can also be made, as long as mention of SE PA, and our code number are clearly specified.

What makes Reins of Life Unique for Equine Therapy?
